Netball Houston makes the move to the new British International School campus out in Katy. The new facilities include two netball courts, one newly varnished wood court and one grey rubber court, players are asked to wear non-marking soles to keep the new school looking clean. The team will train here every Tuesday night from 7.30-9pm, and look forward to the season ahead.

The Houston Shooting Stars (HSS)  have registered for the U.S. Open Netball Championships, the most prestigious netball event in the USA which are being held in Los Angeles, California. This year the tournament will be held in Los Angeles, California and it will see more than 20 teams from across North America come together to compete for the title.

The Netball Open is a two-day event, running November 4-6th, 2016, and it consists of a round-robin format where HSS will play more than 20 teams from a number of different states. The annual event was held in Dallas, Tx, last year where the Houston Shooting Stars came seventh, HSS came seventh out of 36 teams. They are aiming to finish higher this time around.

The Houston Shooting Stars held its Annual General Meeting on the 10th December 2015 to review the current year and discuss points that need to be addressed for 2016. 

A new committee was elected, all of whom are excited to help Houston netball grow and develop in the New Year. The new committee is as follows:
